Greetings and salutations! Thought I would give y'all a bit of a progress report as to what's going on. I still have NOT heard back from the NYTimes. Honestly, it's like I'm a student checking to see if I've been admitted into the Ivy League school of my choice. I really, REALLY want this. Now, don't... Continue Reading →
Shooting My Shot
Greetings and salutations! I'm trying to write more regularly since during the pandemic, I apparently have all the time in the world. Anyway...getting right to it. I saw this guy on Star Trek: Discovery, and he looked familiar. I'm very good with faces, so it looked like a guy who went to the same gym... Continue Reading →
The Prodigal’s Father and Hope for Dinner
Greetings and salutations!!! I'm writing this a couple of weeks, (give or take) from my birthday. I think birthdays are a good time to take stock and reevaluate your life. Just as New Year's is a good time to take stock of where you want to go for the calendar year, a birthday is a... Continue Reading →
“If We Shadows Have Offended…”
Greetings and salutations!!! 2020 and all the confusion continues, and I'll definitely talk more about Pride and Black Power in a subsequent entry. Moving on is a momentous step--no matter how it's done. Ending relationships, taking leaps forward without a safety net, but having the training necessary to do what is required in order to... Falling in Love
Hey, greetings and salutations! There's so much going on in the world today, and I wanted this post to be a place where we could ignore that for the time being. Granted, it's going to be there for a while, but I think that the bombardment of news from social and news media has the... Continue Reading →
Remnants and Shadows
I wake up, and I feel tired, with just pieces of my dream that I can barely remember. But I think...it's about him. The frustrating thing is that I can't be sure. I can't be sure because everything that is happening in my dream state is cloudy and blurry. It's a haze of darkness and pallid hues; somewhere between the fine line of transluscence and and clarity. It's like the moment while the sun is shining but the fog is still out. It's incredibly frustrating.
Hawaii
Hey, greetings and salutations! Aloha! In going over some of my previous posts, I remembered that I was going to tell you about my trip to Hawaii. Hawaii is my favourite place to visit, and I've visited lots of places. I've been trying to figure out for the longest time why Hawaii is my go... Continue Reading →

Pandemic Ponderings: Part II
Hey y'all...greetings and salutations. In my previous post, I was pretty much trying to be uplifting and emphasizing all the good things that one can concentrate on. In this particular post, I'll delve deeper into some of the stuff one might be feeling--as I'm feeling it too. A little more personal, a little less cheerleading,... Continue Reading →
Brideshead Revisited: Part 1
Greetings and salutations!! It's been an incredibly long time since I've blogged, and I apologize for that. My blog has mainly been therapeutic and as I've continued to heal and grow, my desire to write has become less and less. That being said, I find myself with a lot more time than I used to...
