So, it's been a very long while since I've blogged. If you haven't read my entries about K, I suggest you read them so that you're caught up. I was going to say long story short, but this is a blog entry, so long story is going to be kind of long. Well, I'll leave... Continue Reading →
Anniversaries, The Big Apple, and Apparitions!
Greetings and salutations! Thought I would give y'all a bit of a progress report as to what's going on. I still have NOT heard back from the NYTimes. Honestly, it's like I'm a student checking to see if I've been admitted into the Ivy League school of my choice. I really, REALLY want this. Now, don't... Continue Reading →
Shooting My Shot
Greetings and salutations! I'm trying to write more regularly since during the pandemic, I apparently have all the time in the world. Anyway...getting right to it. I saw this guy on Star Trek: Discovery, and he looked familiar. I'm very good with faces, so it looked like a guy who went to the same gym... Continue Reading →
It’s been a minute
Greetings and salutations! Alas, we're still in the middle of a roaring pandemic, BUT there are vaccines on the way. Plural! Hopefully 2021 will bring us to a semblance of a normal life when all is said and done. Being single has been incredibly tough during this time. It's totally disrupted my routines and caused... The Prodigal’s Father and Hope for Dinner
Greetings and salutations!!! I'm writing this a couple of weeks, (give or take) from my birthday. I think birthdays are a good time to take stock and reevaluate your life. Just as New Year's is a good time to take stock of where you want to go for the calendar year, a birthday is a... Continue Reading →

Greetings and salutations!!! 2020 and all the confusion continues, and I'll definitely talk more about Pride and Black Power in a subsequent entry. USE YOUR WORDS!!!
This is going to be a very short, very direct, and very punchy entry (well, short is a relative term for me). During this time of quarantine and pandemics, we all realize that life is short. It can change at the drop of a dime. Everything that we've known can be upended. Now is not... Continue Reading →
Remnants and Shadows
I wake up, and I feel tired, with just pieces of my dream that I can barely remember. But I think...it's about him. The frustrating thing is that I can't be sure. I can't be sure because everything that is happening in my dream state is cloudy and blurry. It's a haze of darkness and pallid hues; somewhere between the fine line of transluscence and and clarity. It's like the moment while the sun is shining but the fog is still out. It's incredibly frustrating.
Old Friends
"Most friends fadeOr they don't make the gradeNew ones are quickly madeAnd in a pinch, sure, they'll doBut us, old friendWhat’s to discuss, old friend? Here's to usWho's like us?Damn few" The above is from a song titled "Old Friends", music and lyrics by Sondheim. Yes, I'm a huge musical and theatre buff! Liza Minnelli does... Continue Reading →
Brideshead Revisited: Part 1
Greetings and salutations!! It's been an incredibly long time since I've blogged, and I apologize for that. My blog has mainly been therapeutic and as I've continued to heal and grow, my desire to write has become less and less. That being said, I find myself with a lot more time than I used to...
